I went through quite a few articles trying to find where my tns.ora file was located. Once I realized that I needed to create one myself, I went through the articles again to find out the location.
General consensus is that this is the location to put it in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/
Unfortunately I did not have that folder structure at all. I gave up and created new network and admin folders under /Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus Client/oraclebi/orahome/network/admin and it worked!!!
